The original version of MoReq published in 2001 has played a central role in the electronic records management. Its development and the technological changes have deeply affected the creation, capture and management of electronic documents.

MoReq2, the main topic of the conference for this edition, is the extended and updated version of the previous pattern. An instrument of interest and of a great impact for those working at the electronic records management, organizations from public and private sector, archivists, responsibles of ICT areas and organizational units facing the challenge of developing an electronic system records management (ERMS).

The innova.doc_2009 workshops wants to bring MoReq2 over our professional group, as a pattern promoted by the European Union through the IDBAC program that is aimed to play an important role worldwide.
